The CHN Hemodynamics department has two high-end equipment operating 24/7 for hemodynamic studies. In it, cardiac diagnostic and therapeutic exams can be performed in two modern rooms and with the aid of a specialized and experienced team. Among the main hemodynamic procedures in CNH are the emergency ones, such as the treatment of acute myocardial infarction, chest pain and stroke. The patient can also undergo elective neurological, coronary and valve procedures, such as:
- Coronary angiography
- Intracoronary ultrasound
- Coronary flow reserve evaluation (CFR)
- Coronary angioplasties with stent implantation
- Mitral and aortic valvuloplasties Transcutaneous implants
To ensure speed and safety in welcoming patients with emergency cardiovascular diseases, the Hemodynamics rooms are close to the integrated laboratories of Unit I.
