Oncology

Oncology is one of the great pillars of CHN

​CHN Oncology is a pioneering service in the North-East Fluminense region that has advanced technological resources in diagnosis and treatment for several types of adult and pediatric cancer. The hospital also offers the Integrative Oncology Surgery Service, designed to offer surgical approach techniques such as cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (Hipec), performed by qualified professionals. 

Adult or pediatric cancer patients who come to the hospital are guided by a highly trained and experienced team of clinical oncologists, cancer surgeons, interventional radiologists and a multidisciplinary team focused on their treatment. In Unit II, oncological patients or those with suspected cancer development can undergo screening, diagnosis and follow-up exams for their treatment at SER CHN - Integrated Medical Solutions, which offers clinical and surgical oncology services.
